Why you love the sport of pentathlon?
The versatility keeps me interested, challenged, and motivated.

I joined Ares in 2018. I saw athletes practicing their shooting and was intrigued.
How often do you train (per week or month)?
Of the five sports of pentathlon (fencing, swimming, equestrian, shooting and running), which do you consider your best?

Photography, traveling, woodworking, and digital arts.
Do you participate in other sports?
Recreational sports such as skiing, snorkeling/scuba diving, biking, basketball, and baseball.
Are there any other athletes in your family?

What career would you like to pursue or are you currently pursuing?
I haven’t figured that one out yet!
Future goals (in sport & or work)?
Keep going for personal bests in each of the pentathlon sports.
What is the greatest challenge you have faced?
Time management with school, training, chores, friends/social life – not necessarily in that order.
In the moments when I doubt that I want to continue, how do I motivate myself?
My parents are a big help in keeping me motivated. Also the feeling of unfulfillment if I don’t give something my all.
How has being an athlete benefited you (positive effects in your life that you would not have had otherwise)?
I have learned so much about taking care of my physical and mental states as both contribute greatly to sport performance and I’ve made some great friends in the club.
